Who are we?
We are Piet & Lida Bood. We've breeded our very first litter of pups in March 1991, with Sofie, our first Berner. Sofie was a star, a beautiful characteristic country girl and it was her who made us forever dedicated to this breed of dog. We were so proud of her! That's why our kennel bears her name. 
Our dog Maartje became the foundation of our reputation as a breeder. She was the root of our dogs. Maartje died in July 2005, at nearly ten years of age. We are keeping our dogs for pleasure, they are our favourite hobby and we are trying hard to hold on to the specific type. We are breeding our dogs with care, attention and a lot of love for the breed. We expect the same care, attention and love of the people who want to buy one of our pups. Therefore we will always want to get to know you better before we decide to put one of our pups in your care. We'll never sell any pup through e-mail or the internet. If you are seriously interested, don't hesitate to contact us. We'll be glad to give you in all candour the information you want about our dogs, their parents and so on.
